St Mary MacKillop Early Learning Centre, Mundingburra

Mundingburra ELC is a long day care centre located in the heart of Mundingburra and near St Joseph's Catholic School. Catering to the wider Townsville region, Mundingburra ELC offers a variety of child-led based care services, including a Queensland Government funded Kindergarten.

At Mundingburra ELC, our service prioritises integrating a variety of different cultures and activities within our community. We make sure that all of the children within our care have the opportunity to learn, understand and experience these different cultures wherever possible. Sidling the school community next door, we treasure a wonderful connection with the community and the Parish. We have an open-door policy where families are able to contribute to the educational program, enabling children to be active learners.

Child-Led Care Services

Backed by a passionate, committed and enthusiastic team of educators, we at Mundingburra ELC prioritise creating a comfortable, engaging environment, supporting individual growth. All rooms within our centre provide a play-based educational program that caters to all children's developmental needs. Educators draw on a range of experience and knowledge to challenge children's learning as they investigate and explore – we work under the belief that each child's learning journey influences their life choices and wellbeing.

Our service facilitates several visits throughout the year from the Parish priests and visits the Holy Trinity Church. The Kindergarten children develop connections with St Joseph's Catholic School with regular visits to the library and establishing buddies within the classes. Sending your child to Mundingburra ELC, you can be confident that we have your child's best interests prioritised.
