Holy Spirit OSHC, Cranbrook

Holy Spirit OSHC is an out of school hours care located in Cranbrook, on the grounds of Holy Spirit Catholic School. Operating with an open-door policy, the families that utilise the school are provided with access to before and after school care and vacation care.

We welcome families with children aged prep to year six into our program for before school, after school and vacation care services. Before School Care is available on all school days between 6.30 am and 8.30 am, and breakfast is provided. After school care is open between 2.50 pm and 6.00 pm, with afternoon tea. We operate vacation care during school holidays between 7.30 am and 6.00 pm.

Strong Community Connections

At Holy Spirit OSHC, we value establishing strong relationships with the school community to provide the best possible care for the children and families we collaboratively serve. In addition to their work at OSHC, many of our Educators also work within the school as teacher aids. This allows us to provide consistency and continuity of care between school and OSHC.

Central to our program philosophy at Holy Spirit OSHC is allowing children the freedom to choose activities based on their own ideas and interests. We aim to build on the idea that children are competent and capable learners from the word go. We provide a holistic program that teaches life skills, answers children’s questions by following an enquiry approach, allows for the benefits of multi-age play, provides opportunities for children to freely choose activities they participate in, and values both loose parts and nature play.
